For this campaign we started with a simple question. How could we make an app that was engaging to readers? As we were brainstorming ideas, we thought about how swiping through an app on your phone is a common occurrence nowadays. Here's a video of the genius Kanye West sharing some thoughts on app user interface.

After listening to Kanye it was clear that our vision could be executed with a tinder-like-app for books. Here is a video showing the user interface we designed for a Books-A-Million app called Thirsty.

This app allows users swipe through books the same way you swipe through Tinder. Users are able to subscribe with a monthly fee and use the app's e-reader to instantly enjoy a book they found on Thirsty.

Here are the Instagram ads we designed to promote the app. We wanted to lean into the stories of young adults experiences on dating apps and connect that to Thirsty.

The final piece of this campaign was a free bookmark that promotes the app with a free trial. These bookmarks would be given out at Books-A-Million brick and mortar locations.
